Copper A1

It consists of pure, non-tinned, unoxidized, copper electrical conductor, with a minimum cross-section 1,3 mm, and of undyed non tinned blades and electrolytic copper scrap.

Copper B2

It consists of various items such as bronze painted and unpainted tubes, with or without joints, cables and fittings with 96% nominal copper content, as determined by an electrolytic test. Must not contain: highly leaded cable, very thin burnt copper wire (wool) and excess oil. It should also be free of iron and other metals and non-metallic materials (insulation, dirt, ashes).

Scrap Brass


It consists of various solid yellow brass objects such as taps, pipes, valves and castings. Must not contain burrs and refrigerators brass, manganese-copper mixtures, aluminum-copper, iron, antimony and too dirty – rusty materials. It must also not contain any kind of ammunition as buds.

Brass 58%

It consists of unpainted, solid and clean industrial components and scrap without iron, other metals, solders and non-metallic elements. In form burrs, should also be free of other metals and foreign elements.

Brass 63%, 65%, 70%, 85%

Brass 63% -85% consist of remnants sheets and brass tubes (for brass 63%). They should be free of welds, paints and other coatings.


It consists of brass cartridge cases free from foreign materials and colors, irons and projectiles.

Refrigerators Bronze – Brass

Copper coolers – brass is car radiators (excluding aluminum coolers) are cleaned from iron and plastic.

Red Bronze

The red brass consisting of mechanical objects such as valves, rings, engine bearings and other parts of machinery, and includes various minimum alloys with copper 81%, tin, zinc and / or lead. Must not contain faucets, counters closed water burnt brass, aluminum, silicon and manganese brass, iron and non-metallic materials.


The chalkonikelia are copper alloy with nickel in conventional proportions 90% -10% and 70-30% respectively.
